Style of Transport

For a more modern wedding consider hiring a fleet of BMW’s, Mercedes or Chrysler 300c’s. Or perhaps for a more traditional celebration vintage cars will suit your day. Or maybe a car that suits your personality, so a VW Beetle or sports car would be perfect. You can be as specific or individual with your wedding car/s. It’s about personal taste and you want to ultimately choose a style that suits you and your wedding. Your guests will always remember what car you arrived in &/or departed in.

How many people do you need to transport?

It is usual for the groom and his best man and grooms party to arrive in one car. The bridesmaids and mother to the bride in another and of course the bride and her father to arrive at the wedding in a wedding car. Of course if you want to offer your wedding cars and allow more guests to arrive in the wedding cars – it is your choice and if you have the budget. The bride should arrive at least 10 minutes before the wedding is scheduled to begin to allow for some last minute adjustments and of course to allow some time for some photo’s to be taken. At the end of the day the bride wants to arrive feeling confident and radiant, rather than flapping and frustrated. The time spent in the wedding car will be very memorable and it may even be the only quiet time.

How many cars will you need?

This will very much depend on your budget and how many people you want to transport. Also consider whether you will want a get away car. After all that celebrating you should definitely leave the driving to others.

How long will you need the cars?

Think about the time spent getting to location, time spent taking photos. Your wedding car is an integral part of your day and the journey or journeys you have in it will be very memorable so you’ll want lots of photos of you in and around it/them. Your wedding car makes for a fantastic back drop.

Will you fit in the car?

It may sound like a silly question but - Will your wedding dress fit inside the car? Imagine yourselves in the car, on the day, in your outfits. Does the car have plenty of head and leg room? Is it easy to enter and exit the car?

Will the cars have white ribbons/Red Carpet?

This will be confirmed at the time of booking but all car suppliers will fit white ribbons to their wedding car/s. Of course if you would prefer not to have white ribbons or not use the red carpet they provide you can request not.

Will the car company offer refreshments, soft drinks and champagne?

Each wedding car supplier is different but most car suppliers supply extras for you on the day. What exactly is provided will be confirmed upon booking.

Can couples provide and play their own music?

If you are interested in playing your own music in the car please let us know so we can discuss whether this is possible or not with each car supplier.

Is the car fully insured and accredited?

All Wedding Cars only supply cars that are fully insured, accredited and registered. All Wedding Cars have a wedding car hire car permit issued in NSW.

When should you book your wedding car?

You wedding car needs should be considered as soon as you have decided on a wedding date. Popular wedding cars can be booked well in advance. Your options of wedding car/s can depend massively on how early you start looking.
